Bathroom Remodel

Imagine a bathroom with brown shag carpet... even around the toilet. That's what needed to be replaced in an old 1908 Victorian that had last been updated somewhere in the early 60s. We gutted the bathroom completely, moving the door and replacing the floor all the way down to a new foundation that extended the shower an extra foot. The new shower was a pan sunk just below the floor lever the full width of the room with a double row of glass blocks bringing in lots of light without sacraficing privacy. The toilet got a private space of its own with a flush glass block window to play light shadows on the silver walls. More flush windows and clean white fixtures finished off the retrofit.
